Within the Richmond and Catterick area’s we have been involved in a community garden project, and the camp centre roundabout notice board, renewed and replaced the cross for St Aiden’s Church, we have very recently installed Alter rails at St Joan of Arc Roman Catholic church. And have delivered a taster session for the Bridge service users. Recently we have worked with over 40 Gurkhas and their families and are now regularly invited to parties. We have helped with Richmond in Bloom, displayed some of our work in Mackenzie Thorpe’s Art Haus.
Further afield we have delivered training sessions to groups in Pickering, Malton and York. Worked with Blind Veterans in Llandudno, currently about to start delivering in the Preston Area and starting to work with Mind Works in Darlington.
We are very diverse in what we do, our youngest customer was 9 years old and the oldest was 93 years young. Unlike many other charitable institutes, we at Veterans Woodcraft C.I.C will work with other charities and organisations.
